hi Tony
i have tried a program by another Tony, edsgui. it has 2 scrolling lists 
that are in sync with one another. current version is only a viewr of 
eds databases. maybe check out how he has kept them in sync too.

my thought on tv saving :
if the lv is already editable/saveable then i picture using the 
same/similar list with record ids that determine which view to use to 
display that record.  ie: record type 1 for tv and record type 2 for 
listview. maybe only a little new code would be needed then.
