1. floodFill()

This is a question for anyone on the win32lib maintenance team (Derek, et al): I noticed in version 55.x there was no floodFill(). In v56.x (which seems only to exist as part of distributions from Tone Skoda) there _is_ a floodFill() (I did find a reference in an old message, on this mailing list I think, in which Derek spoke of having v56.x almost ready to go, but I get the impression it never materialized as an "official" version). Then in v57.x, floodFill() is again missing. So I'm wondering if there was a problem with it. I've added the floodFill() code from TS's v56.x to an official v55.x distribution and it seems to be robust enough to be used repeatedly without consequence under Windows 2000 Pro (no _visible_ consequences, at least). I haven't noticed any nasties, anyway. My question is: why isn't floodFill() part of the official win32lib library file? Is there some hidden daemon lurking within this code or is this part of that global conspiracy I keep hearing about? -Ron
