Do you really think that I want exactly F5? It can be any key as long as it's one key press and is not used, like some character. > Also, because Macros are done with a scripting language, you cannot > open/read/parse ex.err to get the error line. What about FileSystem? I think it can read files. > And even if you wanted to use a different functon key to execute a > program you couldn't do that either because, again, neither vbscript nor > jscript will allow you to execute programs. Yes that's not good. > If I figure out a way to do what you want, I'll let you know... Thanks.

To all you Code Genie uses out there. As you know, CG is freeware. But DolfySoft, the makers of CG, have set up a donation system that I would encourage you to support. They are "suggesting" a $30USD (or more) donation to help continued support for this great editor. The freeware status of CG is also under review. I suspect that DolfySoft will revert to some sort of Shareware system before too long. Disclaimer: I am not in any way connected to DolfySoft except as a happy customer. I've sent my $30 in. --------- Cheers, Derek Parnell
