F5 as a shortcut is predefined: F5 Switches between the bin and hex mode in the binary editor. Also, because Macros are done with a scripting language, you cannot open/read/parse ex.err to get the error line. And even if you wanted to use a different functon key to execute a program you couldn't do that either because, again, neither vbscript nor jscript will allow you to execute programs.
