Is that doing a mail-merge to 490 recipients asking for a reply should not be done before: a) Putting filters on the inbox to divert these replies into useful folders, realising of course that people can't follow INSTRUCTIONS, and will just press the reply button. b) Making sure that the database from which the records come is ABSOLUTELY correct. A query whose results are 5 degrees removed from the initial criterion is not entirely correct, and results in people ringing me to complain that the data set I had on them is not correct (see d. also). c) Making the instructions idiot-proof to the point of painfulness, realising that this is still at best, 50% effective. d) Removing my extension number from the signature, and if possible erase my details from the Global Address list (I wish) ===================================================== <swamped with mail>...GAH!!! .______<-------------------\__ / _____<--------------------__|=== ||_ <-------------------/ \__| Mr Trick
