Hi Alan,
Ricardo Forno's genfunc library has a good set of permutation/combination
routines. It can be found at...

hi Alan
i too am working on a 'different' lottery program. it has been slow
going cuz of night shift and being clear minded enough to program.

i have been collecting sources and lottery data from the web.
i am curious of your program too.

To both Alan and Rudy:
I don't know what kind of lottery program you are developing, but anyway I
guess you are trying to increase the probabilities of winning. I'd like to
warn you that any previous statistics of winning number sets has no
influence on future throws, of course assuming the mechanism used to select
the winners is not biased and the people managing it is honest.
But, however, I wish you luck in your attemptssmile
Regards.

You are correct, sir.

5. RE: Lotto algorithym/formula needed

Hi Alan,
A maths expert I am not, but a Locksmith I am. I work with numbers and
permutations all the time, it doesn't seem that difficult to me to
create a routine to list (perhaps to a text file) all the 6 number
variations of a 1 to 49 game.
If this is of any help contact me and i'll explain further. Or maybe I
miss read your 1st question.

Thanks
Tony Steward

i agree that in reality past results/stats don't help much.
i once saw a show on how the balls were made and tested after each draw.
years ago a group of 11 at work bought tickets. i was not in the group
but asked for a copy of their numbers. i crossed them all out and bought
2 tickets with the remaining 12 numbers. i won 10.00. group won zero.
my idea can be a 'negative number theory' or number reduction system.
i figure if 7 people cannot pick the right numbers then what is left
would be higher odds in favor for remaining nos.but no one wanted to try
it so i am substituting lotterys from around the world.
the historys would help me to test it. but only the last 20 draws would
really be needed. the lotterys would replace the real people.
the goal being to win smaller prizes more frequently .

thanks for the link
