No thanks, I have all the paying programming
work I want, none of which calls for VB skills.
Three or 4 years ago, I was asked to write a
program in VB. After the prototype was
finished, everybody thought it looked great,
but it was too slow to be of any practical use.
So they asked me to rewrite it in Delphi,
which is what I would have used in the first
place if the client had not specified otherwise.
Result: about a 10x speed increase, so the program
could keep pace with the users.
