I just d/l the devilman demo, but I can't seem to do anything, I've pressed
all the keys, and only 2 of them seem to do anything, and that's exit the
game. Am I doing something wrong?

It should work! You just press the arrow keys to move in the desired
directions. If the Devil man does not fall down from the sky at the
start though, I think you have a slight problem!
The only keys that work are the arrows and the ESC key.
