1. Greetings
Hello, I am new to the Euphoria mailing list; since yet I haven't se=
nt
anything in. But I have been reading all the stuff you have been saying
about AI (artificial intelligence, I'm assuming?), gfx, and all that, and=
standing on the sidelines going "Yeah, what he said!" I have only been
programming for a little while, but Euphoria really intrigues me. I want=
to see what I can do with it; I only have one problem: I'm not that
creative. =
I know I'm capable of doing some really great things, but I can't
really think of any things to do. If anyone out there could suggest some
simple programs to try and write, I'd appreciate it. They say the best w=
ay
to learn is to do, right? I figure that even if I don't know how to do
something, I'll research it and try to figure it out.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know. "Bryan Watts", "Lauren K. Watts". Can't a guy=
use his mom's account? (I'm only 16)
Thanks for the ideas. I think I'm going to do a program that conver=
ts
metric measurements to standard, and vice versa. Shouldn't be that hard,=
but I'll have to dig up my old Science and Math books to find the formula=
s.
=
I started in TI BASIC (on the Texas Instruments calculators, like th=
e
TI-85), and then started in QBASIC, so I've done most of the experimental=
graphics stuff. I'm not trying to start with an epic here, just looking
for something to do.

What do you mean with "standard" measuarments??? If you mean inches,
miles, etc... I wouldn't consider it standard (I guess 90% of world
population
uses metric measurements).
