I have been toying with EU for several months now and have been nothing but impressed. Recently my hard drive packed up and i got another one under warranty. I reinstalled W95 and all my old stuff and everything works perfectly, until I try to call any video mode over 19 with EU, then the screen goes blank and the computer hangs up. I can only put this down to a display driver problem, although I'm pretty sure it's still the same one, and everything else works fine (games etc.) Has anyone experienced this problem? Solutions? Suggestions? I have a P-120 and an S3 video card. As to the UNSHROUD issue, I agree with Ralph (never thought I'd say those four words) Waiting with baited breath, Graeme Burke. --{ Life is a sexually transmitted disease }--

Maybe you noticed that he changed his attitude a lo= t, lately. At least, that's what I think. >Waiting with baited breath, >Graeme Burke. >--{ Life is a sexually transmitted disease }-- Oh, now I understand! Ad

I also have a S3 card at the computer at work and have this problem. I have found that if you include machine.e and use the use_vesa(1) at the top of any program that uses the higher mode it works fine. Hope this helps > As to the UNSHROUD issue, I agree with Ralph > (never thought I'd say those four words) Yep, me too..But someone would have figured it out eventually. We just have to figure out a better way :) Regards, Greg Harris blackdog at cdc.net

Unfortunately it dosn't help. It used to work fine with this card. I suppose I'll have to keep trying some different drivers. My guess is that some game I installed sometime updated my video driver an when I reinstalled on a new drive I lost it. Thanks anyway for your response. Graeme.
