Hi Sadly, I think it died, there were some DOS attacks, and it may have been hacked (as Kat says), and there wasn't much input anyway - which is a big shame, because thats the way most of the other programming sites do it - inertia away from topica I suppose. Any way, I've already given my reasons why I prefer BBs, but I do still think topica has had its day. So you see no ads, you get all the emails, you are not affected by the lag, or when topical goes down, and all your emails get thru? I always use the web interface, I tried the e-mail delevery, but messages often were delayed by 3 hours. My ad blocker takes care of (most) of the banner adds. I also hate the text ads: > For Topica's complete suite of email marketing solutions visit: > ht tp://w ww.topica.c om/?p=TEXFOOTER Kat wrote: > > > On 26 Mar 2004, at 3:06, Jerry Story wrote: > > > > > http://click.topica.com/caab3ozb1dd66b6816za/ Ivo Interactive > > > > > > Chris Burch wrote: > > > Seems everyone is beginning to dislike topica - > > > > Not me. Don't recall trying to get an email thru when topica was down. Jerry Story
