Not necessarily: a lot of forums these days allow you to subscribe to a
thread, so all messages written in that thread are mailed to you. This
means there no more cons. Yippy.

You have my vote too.

Robert, if you want to create such a system, I think you won't have to do
it by yourself: a lot of Euphorians will be glad to help in such a project.
I myself offer my services: I'm pretty good with HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
... I'm also working on a library I call 'Kanarie'. With 'Kanarie' you can
create text-based documents, based on templates but with dynamic sections
and data. It can be used for dynamic websites (server-side generation of
HTML). The visual design of the website can be created with a program like
DreamWeaver or Notepad blink and then you can add some field-codes for the
dynamic parts.

Example of a Kanarie-template:

<html>
<head><title>{title}</title></head>
<body>
<h1>{title}</h1>
<p>{intro}</p>
{paragraphs:}
<p>{content}</p>
{:paragraphs}

In this example, you have the dynamic fields 'title' and 'intro'.
'paragraphs' is a container that can be repeated, and each instance has a
field 'content'. There are also conditional containers that display or
hide a section, based on a condition.

Kat, can you stop taking euphoria down and talking about php? If people likes
php they wouldn't be here, so please, don't do this kind of comments.

Gosh, i am sorry, when was the last time i suggested anyone use php? Was
it ok to mention REBOL then? What about html, javascript, Basic, CSS, or
the other 500 languages, they are ok, but don't mention "php"?
