Thanks, Ralf. I rushed off on vacation for a few days and forgot to
send you a copy of my latest struggles on this subject...I am pretty proud
of the result of the struggles though..and with your techniques, maybe more
improvement can be made. In its present form, it solved my problem.
I attach the file savenat.zip which does a good job of saving a long
sequences of positive integers (and zero). If you have any trouble decoding
it, you can just download it from Euphoria Home Page (recent user
contributions.)
Let me know what you think...but I will be gone until Aug 18.
