Greetings All: I just returned from a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada, not very far into Canada, but far enough that I was tempted to increase the length of my Vacation so I could see more of it. I thought Canada was a very beautiful country, and am looking forward to another visit some day, I just wanted to say to all you Canadians, that you were very hospitable and made a very good impression on me. Now to the Euphoria part of this message. I would like to see someone write a game similar to the Dragon Warrior game on Nintendo, my brother let me play it recently, and I just couldn't turn it off, if someone writes one please let me know. TIA. Later: + + + Rev. Ferlin Scarborough - Centreville, Alabama - USA

Glad you liked us, Ferlin! Personally, I think Niagara is too close to the States They use the US Dollar in Niagara and area you know. Hmmmm..... I've never heard of Dragon Warrior, but I'm sure someone will help you. - Nate Brooman [nateb at log.on.ca] -----Original Message----- From: Ferlin Scarborough <ferlin at SANDW.NET> To: EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> Date: July 16, 1998 7:53 PM Subject: Canada and Dragon Warrior >Greetings All: > > I just returned from a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada, not >very far into Canada, but far enough that I was tempted to >increase the length of my Vacation so I could see more of >it. What is Dragon Warrior like? I'm not much informed about Nintendo. If it's not too complicated maybe I could do it. >What is Dragon Warrior like? I'm not much informed about >Nintendo. If it's not too complicated maybe I could do it. It's a roleplaying game. Basically, you are a knight or something and you go and kill monsters and buy stronger weapons and armor and learn more powerful magic, probably to destroy a, ummm, dragon maybe? ;) at the end of the game. I've played it before, but don't own it. (My NES system doesn't work right. :/ ) The fighting is the more "old style" way: Attack, Use, Magic, Run? A You missed! Enemy blob attacks for 8HP Attack, Use, Magic, Run? A You hit the enemy blob for 300HP. You have killed the enemy blob! Although the game has graphics and the menu is controled differently, that's the idea. Sorta like what I suppose Balenfaire will be, except with "simulated" action instead of "real" action. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I might do a turnbased rpg/strategy game sometime though. Sincerely, Lewis Townsend ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
