Thanks for this, Patrick! It is exactly what I was looking for. I don't care about it being in windows. It is just that Powerpoint and others are extremely cost prohibitive if you want to legally use it at more than one location. The image in the screen seems to be scrambled, though. (I know it's a work in progress, I'm not looking for any work from you in it.) I can view the bmp using Paint, so it is okay. Also, I was hoping to advance this idea to show on monitor 2 to allow previewing by the operator if desired. Does anyone know of any work in that area? I have searched the list messages but the responses were preliminary, at best. BTW - You just couldn't leave that Win32 thing alone, could you? Joe and Audrey Phillips Granbury, TX

This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_4637_785_1cd0 I'm working on an database-driven application for putting song lyrics up on a projector screen, nominally similar to Powerpoint. I've been focussing my attention mainly on the display routines, making sure that I am able to do what I wanted, and they're mostly complete. This is a very ambitious project for me, so I'd love it if you guys could have a look at what I've done so far, and give some feedback. (Unzip to c:\euphoria\lyrix, or change this line: template = getTemplate("c:\\euphoria\\Lyrix\\template.ini") ) The two apps are sing2.exw and sing6-resize.exw. sing2 is a fullscreen version, much earlier than sing6, and it just shows how it can be done. sing6 shows windows inside windows, and resizing the window. It also has rich text of sorts for the main body of lyrics, denoted by htmlstyle tags. ===================================================== .______<-------------------\__ / _____<--------------------__|=== ||_ <-------------------/ \__| Mr Trick ------=_NextPart_000_4637_785_1cd0 Content-Type: application/x-zip-compressed; name="Lyrix.zip"
