Hello All, I just uploaded the newest version of LewisArtillery. The controls are the same but the computers are a little smarter and there is now DIRT (WOO HOO!) that you can blow craters in. As always it can be found at: OR Also, if this unrealistic, highly stylized, pseudo-violence offends anyone, please complain only via personal email, and then only after YOU HAVE ACTUALLY TRIED THE GAME! My parents think it's "cute" and they're quite ticklish about violent computer games too. There's no blood and guts. Just circular explosions and unrealistic sound effects. Rob could you please give this a spot on your recent users contributions page? Name: LewisArtillery Description: A simple artillery game for windows Bug reports are helpful. Suggestions are welcome. Complaints are tolerated. later, Lewis Townsend __ _____ __ __ __ __ _____ /\ \ /\ \|\ \ /\ \ /\ \ /\ \ /\ \ / \_\ / \____\ \_\/ \_\/ \_\/ \_\/ \____\ / / / / / ___/ | | / | / / / /\ / __ \ / / / / / /_\ | | | / | / / / /\_\/ /_ \/ / / /\ / / ___/ | | |/ | / / / /\ \ \__ \ \ / /__\\ / /__\ \ | /| |/ /\ / / \/\_\/ / \/_____/ \/_____/ \|___/\|___/ \/_/ \_____/ keroltarr at hotmail.com http://geocities.com/keroltarr/

Is it possible to keep the game inside a window instead of taking over the = whole screen? On Win98SR2, controls from behind will often flicker if the = mouse moves over them. =20

Hello Michael, >Is it possible to keep the game inside a window instead of taking over the >whole screen? On Win98SR2, controls from behind will often flicker if the >mouse moves over them. Yes, I need to fix that. However you shouldn't be seeing any controls behind it because it paints to a window that doesn't have any. However, if you alt+tab the program doesn't stop the timer on a lost-focus even, this should be easy to fix. Also, the screen is suppose to size to the window and the window is maximized. I would think that that size would exclude the task- bar but apparently not. I need to find a way to find the size of the screen's client area. Thanks for reminding me. I seldom run into this because I don't alt+tab much when playing games. later, Lewis Townsend

Hello everyone, I have not completely dropped off this list. In fact I have even been working with Euphoria a little. I just recently uploaded the most recent version of my LewisArtillery game. If anyone is interested in it it is at: http://geocities.com/keroltarr/download/LewisArtillery.zip This version has dirt and smarter computers. Rob could you please update my entry on the recent contrib page. I also probably will release a newer version of my LOOP lib soon as I have made a few more changes and enhancements to it too. later, Lewis Townsend
