Hi Mike,
you are still too jung to play with your age! I will become 60 soon and
I'm unable to realize it. But concerning the situation of US school
education: also in Germany the situation had become worse. But, today
pupils are more 'equal' on a common lower level of knowledge. I thought
in US the 'sputnik shock' should have changed something.
Anyway, I hope at least, nobody feels suppressed asking questions here
due to my remark concerning knowledge!

Oh, you're from Germany...
Ich bin ein kartoffel fresser (ie. I'm Belgian :p).
Aboiut this whole school thing...
Shool sucks, you don't need it.
Ditch school and get yourself a compiler, you'll learn
everything you need in life; math, grammer, logic,
arts, etc. through coding.
That's what I did.
And look at me, I'm still the best coder in Europe.
I might not think things through enough, but no one
can beat my code.
How many people know MTS?
A couple of hundred thousand, to say the least.
Famous people even know MTS, and wanna be like Mike.
So kids, when you feel like statyin' in bed, do it,
and forget about school.
And when you do go, kick some guy's ass real hard, and
become king of the school, so you can get others to do
your work for you, and you can sleap on the schoolyard
bench, like I did ;)
