1. Moderation and delay

Hello,
my impression is that since moderation in 'ON', the delay between
sending a post and receiving it via this list is considerable now.
Especially when posting at times where Europeans are (more or less)
awake and North Americans probably deeply dreaming this seems to be the
case.
Is there a technique to filter 'critical' posts automatically for later
moderation, but let pass the uncritical mails without delay?
