Is it true what you say about euphoria being slower than C, and does it really run that slow when you make a 3d game.

Euphoria is sometimes 100 times slower than C! Even with the translator, it's slower than hand-coded C. And writing a 3D game? Just lemme ask you something. How many 3D games did you see written in Euphoria? Exactly. Don't even think about writing a 3D game in Euphoria. Even if you call C libraries like Direct X, your code for collision detection, backface culling, hidden polygon removal, lighting, texture managing, networking, sound streaming, event handling, back buffering, game logic, etc. are all gonna have to be coded in Euphoria, resulting in a 3D game that runs at 2Fps on an Athlon with a GeForce 2. Imagine writing Quake III in QBasic, that's about the same as writing Quake III in Euphoria. Mike The Spike
