1. RE: attachments

Sorry Judith,

I think you ARE out of luck..
If there are specific attachments you want, I'm starting an archive of
the EUforum mailing list for that purpose, so that those of you CAN
still get the attachments if you want. I think I will limit my archive
to attachments only though. As my mail client is already at 1/10 of
capacity with only 2 days posts...
So I should say I'm starting an archive of posts that include
attachments..

DEFINITELY a drawback..
but I am sorry to say.. it's hard to forsee something of this nature
when there is only 2 or 3 people using the list. Now that the list has
moved.. The bugs are starting to scurry...

Is anyone, who uses digest mode, able to get the attachments? Or is this
problem specific to Judith?

Chris

You could set up a yahoo account or something, and subscribe through that.
You can get mail from Yahoo through any client that can access POP3
accounts. You could set your client to d/l the messages whenever. You'd
get attachments, but wouldn't touch your email limit.

3. RE: attachments

This would be a good idea..
but like I said in my reply.. which I think didn't make it ahead of
yours, my mail client is getting full pretty fast..

Could do, but would at least have to clean it out every once and a
while..

I have 10MB of space on my free web based server (That's about the most
I've seen from a free web mail server).

I have about 10 days left before I have to do some house cleaning in
there..

Forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but ... you might open more than
one account.

Of course it's not practical. Just pointed out the possibility. There's no
way everybody will ever be totally happy. Anyway, most mail clients will
handle multiple accounts reasonably well, so it should be more of an
administrative (keeping track) than a practical question.
