Actually Allegro in general is basically a 2D library, It does have some 3D math routines and polygon rendering routines but nothing close to the high level Morfit routines. My PC is sadly far to slow to run the demos at any worthwhile speed (P166 with crappy onboard video card). Have you looked at Crystal Space? I wandered onto the web site on the weekend and it is an open source (C++) 3D engine. I haven't really heard of it before but for anyone interested in 3D they should have a look into it. I'd be happy for anyone to help writing conversions / demos for euAllegro but ... (there always is a but)... I'll have to get some doco ready first. At this stage I haven't written 1 line yet so it would be pretty difficult to use it without some sort of introductory text. Thanks for your interest Mark. Ray Smith
