1. Asynchrony for Projects

Guys 'n' Gals,

I stumbled across this site today when searching for VBA info...

www.asynchrony.com

It might prove useful for some of the project teams running around here.

If you sign up and feel compelled, use me as your referral: cklester.

Thanks!
ck

P.S. I'd primarily like to hear from those who are using SourceForge. Are
these sites competitors? If so, which is better and why? My thoughts about
SourceForge are that their servers are way too slow, even on my DSL at home.

2. Re: Asynchrony for Projects

Hi ck,
I'm not interested in giving Asynchrony ownership of the Win32lib code, nor
charging people to use it.

SourceForge is slower than other sites, but I have cable internet connection
so it's not a real bother to me. SourceForge seems much better organised and
"smarter" - for now it's worth my while.

3. Re: Asynchrony for Projects

Derek,

I was concerned about the ownership issue, as well. However, I suggested it
for those who might be interested in tackling some of the projects already
posted. I think we've got some great programmers on this list and that's a
way for them to exercise their skills.

Also, if some of us post some EUPHORIA projects, that could help spread the
good news of the code.

I've got DSL, but SourceForge is still aggravatingly slow. smile

P.S. 'ppreciate yer comments!
