Just a note: The createPixmap() function in the latest release of Win32Lib is entirely *wrong*. Hopefully, I'll be able to retrieve the correct version of that routine from a backup. -- David Cuny

I have started the learning curve associated with win32lib and will try to correct this myself just thought the rest of you should know about=20 the bug.....hopefully this hasn't been reported yet and I'm not beating a dead horse... euman at bellsouth.net ------=_NextPart_000_0015_01C0482E.991416E0 charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I found something interesting when I=20 compiled</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>toolbar that came with win32lib = v.54</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>the program doesnt like -1 (negative=20 numbers)</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>running the mouse_pointer to the top of = the=20 tool</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>bar you will run into -1 which will = crash the=20 system.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I have started the learning curve=20 associated</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>with win32lib and will try to correct = this=20 myself</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>just thought the rest of you should = know about=20 </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>the bug.....hopefully this hasn't been = reported=20 yet</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>and I'm not beating a dead = horse...</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2><A=20 ------=_NextPart_000_0015_01C0482E.991416E0--

I don't really understand what this sentence is saying? What exactly = does "running the mouse_pointer" mean? Does it mean manually moving the = mouse device? Or does it mean programatiically setting the position of = the mouse pointer? Can you give me a sample code that demonstrates the = problem you have found? If you have a correction, then please forward it = to me or the list so I can incorporate it into future releases. Does the = problem happen only with compiled code or does it also happen with the = Euphoria interpreter? What does the phrase "you will run into -1" mean? = Is this a return value of some function?
