Hi there, 1. Best of Euphoria Web Page: I was just thinking about a few emails that have come through lately related to beginners and had the thought of a "best of" Euphoria libraries web page. This web page would highlight the "best" Euphoria libraries available with a longer description than is currently on the "Recent Contributions" and "Archive" pages. (maybe with screen shots and links to examples and further doco) I think I remember the Euphoria doco mentioning win32lib (but nothing else from memory). I could imagine Judith's IDE to be on there as well ... if it is stable enough (I haven't used it yet so can't comment), although I am planing to soon ... honest Judith! I imagine it wouldn't be an RDS page because of the politics involved with ... "what should be included" and "why was xxx excluded". The recent user contributions are great and the archives are great, but for a new user it would be difficult to weed out the gems from the rest. An alternative is to somehow tie it in with the "happy user" tags on the archive and recent user contributions. Maybe have another view of those pages in "number of votes" order to bring the useful ones to the top?? What do other people think of such a web page??? And the difficult question ... what libraries should be included? It would be difficult for one person to do it because people use Euphoria for all different purposes ... maybe 1 page for each platform? 2. What projects has/is Euphoria used for? On many other web pages related to software development there is a page that summaries how / where "this tool/language etc" is used and for what applications. Not tools / examples /documentation but hard fast applications that someone who has never heard of Euphoria would be interested in. I think "Euphoria" community (or RDS) "could" do something similar. My next question obviously is ... What "major" projects has Euphoria been used for that would interest new users and motivate them to use Euphoria. I can remember a couple of games in the past but I can't remember (note: I have a terrible memory!!!) any other types of applications that would fit into this category. Any other ideas??? Ray Smith
