Does the wxEuphoria demo catch_keys.exw not work on Linux? Or is something wrong with my computer? I press some keys and there is no response.

Make sure that you click on the window first. It seems that keys don't get sent properly until that happens (at least, that was my experience). Matt Lewis

(Which is why I got interested in adding keyboard stuff to a program.)

I tried putting the focus on several things (window, widgets) and the keys still don't work. But the alt keys work on the menu bar. (What I wanna do is either use the tab key or arrow keys to move the focus from widget to widget, or to use a specific ctrl key to put the focus on a specific widget (or both). Then maybe do something with the space key. Etc.)
