Rod, I'm using your padlock.e in a CGI script and I was wondering if there was a function to test the password to make sure it fit the criteria to be valid before it was passed to pl_open which could be made public? Sorry for both posting to the list and this glorified run-on sentence that can be called this email. -E.Allen Soard E.S.P. Software Bookmark the HyperMart Small Business Center. Allen, Well, there is, but unfortunately I didn't make it global. Now that you mention it, that does seem like it should be a given. I'll include it in the next version (which will be out as soon as I get the time to make some more optimizations and maybe add another feature or two.) Sure, why not? (If anyone else is interested in this rare, never-to-be-released-again version 1.11, speak now...) I'll jump on it and will email it within the hour.... Me and my big mouth... I just remembered that I've already wiped the source code to Padlock off of my machine here at the office (yes, I'm still too cheap to get home internet access, and too addicted to a T-1 to work under a 56K modem... but I'll have to pretty soon anyway *sigh*...) I'll have it for you hopefully by tomorrow morning. Rod
