Well, I've been having the problem of excessive memory usage by the IDE. It was using almost 900 megabytes of virtual and physical memory. It never actually got past the splash screen because I killed it. Perhaps you are experiencing the same phenomenon. Derek said all he did was re-download the IDE to fix it. When I run a Win32Lib demo, exw uses about 2 megs. When I run the IDE, it uses 16.8 megs. I still show 115 megs free, however. Irv

I don't see it using much VM, but clicking anywhere in the Form Design window causes an immediate crash. Irv
