Since you've already released the program, it's too late to prevent that. If you're worried about someone just copying big chunks of your code, well, that would be easily detected, wouldn't it? And whoever did that would get a lot of ridicule from people on this list, and would be guilty of copyright infringement as well. You can post anything you want without the source, but there is a real, logical reason for people to prefer programs which come with source code: Someday you will get bored, get interested in something else, get hit by a bus, or whatever, and quit supporting your program. It's happened several times in the past. If your program is useful, then people will want to keep using it, and improve it by removing the remaining bugs, making it work with various versions of Windows, maybe even on Linux. Without the source, none of that's possible. Irv
