This is truly frustrating. I could have swore Derek said he would be releasing 0.60.5 soon, but as much as I search the forums, I can't find the message to which I can make reference and a not-so-subtle query as to when it's going to be available to the slobbering public, some of whom need it to finish projects!!! Am I going crazy?! I just want to know what the timeframe is for the release of Win32Lib's next version. Is that so wrong? -=ck "Programming in a state of EUPHORIA." http://www.cklester.com/euphoria/

Is your client paying you for that project? What's my cut then? If you want to take over custodianship of the bloody library then say so. If you *need* the next release then why not be polite and let me know? I have another life too. My family and work commitments come before Win32lib, however I would put in a special effort if ask politely. No-one has said they are hanging out for the next release, so I decided to work harder at solving a problem with XP manifests (who's brain fart was that anyway!). I'll stop working on that now and package up whatever is there immediately (7:52 am GMT+10 Sunday morning), even though it means telling the kids that they'll have to wait a few hours before we going walking the dogs along the StKilda foreshore. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia

I was just letting you know in a not-so-serious way that I was expecting the next release with great delight. You, however, seem to have gotten over-sensitively offended. I hope I failed to detect the humor in your voice. > No-one has said they are hanging out for the next release, so > I decided to work harder at solving a problem with XP > manifests (who's brain fart was that anyway!). I didn't say anything because last I heard you said it was 24-48 hours away. :) > I'll stop working on that now and package up whatever is there immediately > (7:52 am GMT+10 Sunday morning), even though it means telling the kids > that they'll have to wait a few hours before we going walking the dogs > along the StKilda foreshore. Please tell me you're joking. -=ck "Programming in a state of EUPHORIA." http://www.cklester.com/euphoria/
