A Malay internet cafe was infested with a trojan from a porn site, via javascript. One French netcafe was mass-kicked last night because they also got a irc- capable worm from the web. I've lost a harddrive from a javascript page, and had to reinstall the OS before. I don't wanna repost it all again, but as long as you allow people to download things onto your computer, supposedly for your browsing enjoyment or to make fancier pages, you leave yourself open to them downloading bad things too. One guy online the other day admitted he got his irc bots by appending trojans to free web downloads. > Carpe diem (even without JavaScript), and have a nice day, Rolf Caveat emptor (with anything like javascript), and have a nice day, Kat
