Completely compatible? Are you referring to the parser/processor?
I beleive that is what you are referring to.
The parser will be intially designed to be 100% compatible. Once that is
achieved. That version will be locked down, and will be forked, to
create the alternate parsers.

The purpose of the 100% compatability, is so that you will be able to
run legacy code. More importantly, it provides the base for all future
alterations, while maintaining that original, 100% compatible parser. So
if the mods don't work out, we can fall back to the legacy code and
start again, or create any number of exploratory versions.

It's still in discussion, whether or not Empire will try to maintain
compatability with current and future RDS code.

The parsers, whichever versions, legacy and mods, will run on the
official euphoria interpreter. Both pd and registered.
Empire is not going to attempt to interfere with that yet.
