Can you let me know what do you mean? No, sorry -- that just happened too quickly. I'll stick to contributing to places, where my work will not be mangeled arbitrarily. My time is limited. Good luck with the Wiki anyway. Regards, Juergen -- Please excuse my flawed English. My native language is Euphoria.

Hi Ah, Jeurgen, you've missed the point. Wikis grow, some slowly, some quickly. You contributions are open to alteration, or even abuse, that is their nature. But they are fantastic repositories of information (who hasn't used wikipedia?) This is a young, new venture for euphorians. Have some patience, akuysa has undone the changes, and its starting to look a bit more organised. This is their organic nature. Anyone here spot the deliberate mistake? Yes, Juergen. Please reconsider. Your input is highly valued. I never edited Wiki before Aku's Wiki site. It emboldened me to actually enter a change to Wikipedia (which I use constantly). I think it will be a great resource. Ryan Johnson: Sorry, I may have checked out your Wiki before but I really really like the one Aku has set up. I'll check out yours some more when I have the time. -- "Any programming problem can be solved by adding a level of indirection." --anonymous "Any performance problem can be solved by removing a level of indirection." --M. I know what Wikis are, and in the past I have contributrd to Wikipedia, as well as to other less known Wikis. But they only will work reasonable, if there is a certain minimum of respect for the work of other people. Regards, Juergen -- Who is general fault, and why does he read my hard disk?

As you know, people make mistakes and if your words were 'disrespected' it is most likely a mistake or over-enthusiastic editing. And this being a wiki means you can either correct the edit, complain to the Admin, or both. > > Wikis grow, some slowly, some quickly. Please don't take it personally as I'm sure nothing was meant by any editing to your contributions. On the other hand, if anyone feels that their contributions are sacrosanct then they should not contribute to a public wiki. I know that I must be prepared to deal with other people trampling all over my precious words. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia Skype name: derek.j.parnell

I do not take it peronally. I just don't like to work for the wastpaper-basket. I know dozens of better ways to spend my time. > On the other hand, if anyone feels that their contributions are sacrosanct > then > they should not contribute to a public wiki. I know that I must be prepared > to deal with other people trampling all over my precious words. I never said "sacrosanct". But with other Wikis, I only meade positive experiences in the past. So yes, what happened here was not what I had expected. This whole discussion is completely superfluous. It's not necessary to tell me how Wikis work. And guess who's decision it is how I spend my time ... Regards, Juergen -- Please excuse my flawed English. My native language is Euphoria.
