I discovered Euphoria some days ago, and I am really impressed. Congratulations to the programmers for such a nice language (and thank you for being so present in this list!). I am one of the many users disappointed by the death of Rapid-Q (a dialect of Basic, whose development has been discontinued), and I find in Euphoria all I had and much more. I have only one request: the standard release of Euphoria for Windows *should* somehow include Win32Lib, IDE and *above all* eutypes.zip. (Still better, the installation program for Win could automatically update the registry.) I understand that those are 3d-party extensions, but perhaps a *very* evident link to those files in the download page would be much welcomed by beginners, who often do not know how manually update file associations, and could conclude that Euphoria is "console based" without even browsing the (excellent!) archive and finding there the (excellent!) graphic libraries and IDE. Also the QBasic-to-Euphoria translator (even if incomplete) is worth being put in the foreground, I think (I could tranform a rather complex utility without *any* modification). Hi Welcome to the list and to the World of Euphoria. You also can start by going to the tutor Dr in euphoria and try the examples there.Try to understand sequences and how to add to them and Del from them. The attached program is still in the making and is not very good, but it might help you.
