1. [OT] WINDOWS 2000 Password

Every time I start my computer I get a message 'your password is about to

expire in 14 13 12 etc... days'. Seems like I just reset that password.

How can I fix it so I set the password and that's the end of it? I am not

concerned about security ,hackers or strangers comming in and tampering with

my computer.

I using Windows 2000.

"Password never expires"

4. Re: [OT] WINDOWS 2000 Password

Account properties can be accessed from:
Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Managemant.
Open "Local Users and groups" and click on "Users".
This will show all user accounts on your machine.
Right-click on your account and select properties.

User properties on local accounts can only be modified when running under an
account with administrative rights (possibly Power Users).

Thank you Larry.
I needed those detailed instructions.
(Because I'm pretty dense about somethings.)
