1. [GEN] Split the list?
Having heard much pro and con, I've decidied that splitting the list isn't
the best way to go after all. The idea of the [GEN][DOS][WIN][LNX] tags
(like Recent Cotributions) should provide most of the benefits of splitting
for those who want that, but less of the disadvantages for those who don't.
One small extension of the idea--developers of large projects such as
Win32Lib should be encouraged ot agree on, publish, and use a second tag
that would be specific to the project. For example, if win32 lib were
[W32L] then a post on the topic have [WIN][W32L] at the beginning of the
subject line. If at some time I were to get an Object Euphoria project
going on the list it could be [GEN][OE], etc.

Or we could consult some Chinese naming committee to give all of our
messages 32-bit hexadecimal ID's before they go to the list!
This
message probably could've been called ff5cf45e
