I looked into SEAL a while back. It looks slick, but doesn't seem to be
making much progress, and the API is pretty blecherous. On the other hand,
microwindows ( http://microwindows.censoft.com/ ) seems to be making good
progress, and has quite a number of hands involved in it. FLTK seems to be
running quite nicely, and there's even a GTK+ port in progress.

It does show off what can be done under DOS very nicely. Unfortunately, it's
a completely closed environment. The SciTech MGL toolkit (
http://www.scitechsoft.com/download.html ) is more open, but doesn't really
handle multiple windows. There is an exploration of porting GTK+ to MGL for
wxWindows, but I haven't heard anything about it lately.
I was going to link to Zinc (not free) and MGui (free), but they both seem
to have disappeared from the 'Net...
Unfortunately, even the most free of these libraries isn't available under
Euphoria, because Euphoria/DOS doesn't support DLLs.
