1. [off-topic] Linux book

I got my start in Linux with a book by Michael Kofler titled simply "Linux". I
had once been impressed by Redhat back around version 4.1, but my appreciation
for their company has dramatically decreased over the year. Currently, if you're
looking for a way to get started fast, I would recommend either the Corel or
Peanut distro.

On to a diff subject Does anyone know of a good book on Linux,I
Really,Really,Really,Really need one.I have been trying to learn linux but
the help files that come with it is really (to the tenth power) bad.I think
you have to be a MIT grad to figure it out. Also I have asked for help from
Red Hat and no luck there,I guess they don't support thier product. Thanks
for the help

I just ordered the latest Slackware and Debian CD's. I personally think those
two are the best overall linux distributions, everyone has their favorite
distro, these are mine.

just giving my 2 cents.
