Hello All, Junko and I are going to disappear for 2 weeks starting Saturday. We're taking a trans-Atlantic cruise from Portugal to the Virgin Islands. (Now you know where Junko's AOL "EnjoyCruz" id comes from.) While looking out over the ocean, sipping our tea, we'll be doing some long-range planning for the WIN32 and DOS32 versions of Euphoria. (Heh - maybe we can tax deduct the whole cruise!) When we get back, refreshed, we'll be ready to start work on the 2.0 beta release. While we're gone there will be no Web page updates and no replies on the mailing list, however you can still register or upgrade. We've trained someone to process PsL and CompuServe orders and e-mail the download instructions. Both rds at msn.com and 72614.1667 at compuserve.com will be checked a couple of times per day. Regards, Rob Craig Rapid Deployment Software

All the euphorians in this lists have believed that you already had started work on beta long time before, at just after the time of alpha issue. What a surprize is that you even do not start! Bye!!!! -- from Lee, woo seob.

------ =_NextPart_000_01BCF0EB.F37BF820 Since Robert and Junko are heading off on a well-earned vacation for the next couple of weeks, do we have a volunteer for a temporary User Contributions page? It would (obviously) be helpful if that person: 1. Has reliable e-mail 2. Can translate obscure encoding formats 3. Has a web page with lots of space 4. Has enough free time to update it often 5. Is insane enough to volunteer for a thankless task I expect that there will be a lot of development on the Win32 platform in the next few weeks, and having access to files will avoid a lot of painful re-inventing of the wheel. Any volunteers? -- David Cuny ------ =_NextPart_000_01BCF0EB.F37BF820

I nominate Irv Mullin's FTP site. http://www.mindspring.com/~mountains/ > It would (obviously) be helpful if that person: > > 1. Has reliable e-mail You don't need to email for the file to get up there. You just upload the file into the incoming/ directory. > 2. Can translate obscure encoding formats check > 3. The only problem is that we can't update a file already in the incoming directory. We have to use a different filename. > 5. Is insane enough to volunteer for a thankless task That's why he's being voluteered. I hope he doesn't mind. bYe! -- _____ _____ _____ ________ /\ \ /\ \ /\ \ / \ \ / \____\ / \____\ / \____\ / _ \____\ / / ___/_ / /____/ / / ___/_ / / \ |___| / / /\____\ / \ \ / / /\____\ \ \_/ / / \ \/ / ___/_\ \ \ \ \/ / ___/_ \ /____/ \ / /\ \\/\ \ \ \ / /\ \ \ \ \ \ \/ \____\ \ \ \ \ \/ \____\ \ \ \ \ / / \ \____\ \ / / \ \____\ \ / / \ / / \ / / \ / / \ / / \/____/ \ / / \/____/ \/____/xseal at harborside.com\/____/
