        Eloquently stated, but off-target on one point:

        Most of the 'negativity' I have seen (my own included) has been targeted
toward Windows programming in general, not Robert Craig's  implementation
of it. As such, it was admittedly off subject and should not have been on
this list-serv (my own included, again).

Having said that, I agree whole heartedly with the rest.  Robert Craig
        has
done a lot of work on this thing and needs bug reports more than random
Window-smashing.  Since I have no intention of fooling with Windows coding
any time soon, I should have kept my mouth shut, and will (after this post)
do exactly that.
