Fact: RDS gets their income from the consumer (us). Fact: The consumer is always right Fact: Their are two versions wanted: Linux and Win95. Suggestion: Why don't we have a vote on the next version. No debate simply yes or no. ~~>Joseph Martin ~~>E-mail: joe at cyber-wizard.com ~~>URL: http://users.exis.net/~jam/

Writing if for Windows opens a whole new market.. It would not make sence, they aren't on this list (yet) and can not vote for that reason... The only thing i really want to see change is the fact that some Euphoria programs run under Windows, if that needed to be possible write a nice userinterface your self, like win95. I just want to be able to switch to windows mode in my program and to call dll's. You should be able to call a dll without making a windows version... Maybe the whole windows interface thing can be saved in a DLL. So people can always call a DLL and if they want there program to be a windows program call a special dll (already delivered with Euphoria) which talks to windows and do the hot stuff some would like so much... This way there isn't dos or windows version or compatibility problem, just Euphoria, and you can use it for either dos or windows. You can also write dos/windows combination programs... :) (Like a lot of win95 games!!) Even I don't understand the new improvemts of the win95 version, I guess that "some way" you'll be able to do windoz like applications easily. The linux version would be great, but isn't as escential (economically speaking) as win95. If Rob and Junko get some time to port the code, that would be really great! -- Regards, Daniel Berstein architek at geocities.com http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/9316
