1. DIRCMP.EX updated
Hi everyone who at least burns CD-ROMs!
I just send my updated DIRCMP to Rob.
When burning CD-ROMs under WIN 3.11 I had the possibility to verify the
copy with the orginal CD or HD-dir. Sometimes I encountered byte
errors.
Unfortunately, a new software I'm using now under Win NT has no more the
verify option.
DIRCMP was written to compare the burned CD-ROM with its original data
source which might be an CD-ROM or a hard disks dir. It runs with EX
under
DOS or with EXW under Win NT to account for long filenames.
There are only up to 10 different bytes accepted. However, file
attributesas well as the length of dirs are not tested.
Please report any problem or error and I will try to help you.
