It seems to be a (unnoticed by Thomas) problem in gd. It only affects
the special text function that makes text in a circular fashion. All the
other examples should work, no?

Hi

Yes, except the fontconfig test, which says that fontconfig is not compiled
into gde.dll - no big deal, don't need that function.

What I'm trying to do is take a jpg, paste on a new smaller jpg onto specific
areas, and output the new jpg. If there is any other way to do this
programmatically, I would be grateful for any input.

Chris

Ah yes, it was quite a bit too complicated trying to get fontconfig to
work. You probably wouldn't need it anyway.

Obviously this is the best way ;)

PS. I can send you a JPG only version if you don't need the PNG stuff
or anything, like I did for somebody...
