1. Re: win32lib and bitmaps and Focus

All,

[win32lib palette problem]

A little while back I left some messages on the list about
using Bitmaps with win32lib, I was having a problem with the palette
not displaying properly. If I looked at the file information in
mspaint and lviewpro and imaging, they all told me the file was
792X522X256. The problem with the palette was showing up on my desktop
but not on my laptop. I used an earlier version of the imaging and it
told me the file was 792X522 TRUECOLOR, BINGO - there was the problem
my desktops video card will not support above 256 colors, I converted
the bitmap, although I LOST some of the realism, it does display with
the correct palette on both machines now. Yet another headbanger
solved.

[Tabbing in win32lib]

Along about the same time as the above was going on I was
having Tabbing problems with my program, it would go through all
the EditText controls first, then the Buttons and at the last the
MLE's. I discovered with a *BLUSH* that I had created the MLE's
along with my LTEXT controls rather than the EditText controls. I
moved the MLE's down into the EditText controls where they were on
the screen and that solved the Tabbing dilemma, so if you ever see
this behavior then that is where the problem lies, although I was
a little intrigued with the Tab order with the previous definition.

Thanks all for the support and help so far giving, maybe someday I
will actually get my proggie to working properly and distributed.
