a small error is reported when using safe.e of Euphoria 3.2:
line 407: missing end if

Thanks for reporting this.
I was the last to edit the file in the trunk,
but all I did was adjust a few comments at the top,
and then I didn't bother to test it.
The error is in peek_string(), a new routine added
recently by Matt, so I'll leave it to him to fix it.
