Norm,

With regards to the various problems you are experiencing:

1.  The disappearing char 32:  Its not a bug, its a feature!  =

Font2spr.ex was hardwired for char 32 to be a space char.  It happens in
the last 4 lines of the convert() routine.  If you comment out these 4
lines, the problem, I mean the feature, goes away.

2.  The memory leak:  I still can't duplicate your problem.  Try running
the program in DOS mode to see what happens.

3.  Other news:  I have big-font versions of spred.ex, spr_load.e and
spr_font.e up and running.  I can add buttons for "Append File" and "Inse=
rt
File" to spred.ex to help build mega-fonts.  Any thoughts?  Wish list?
