For some there are free drivers, for some you have to pay for drivers and for some there are no drivers at all. To find out what chipset you've got, check the output of lspci. Hi Don, This is a bit OT For what its worth, I found a Stratitec pci modem with on board hardware DSP at WalMart - for $25. http://www.stratitec.com/ Ken Rhodes 100% MicroSoft Free SuSE Linux 10.0 No AddWare, SpyWare, or Viruses! Life is Good
