Okay, there's a sample wall-following bot, complete with code, on the
EUPHORIC web site (http://euphoric.webjump.com, or
http://216.49.10.222/eu/euphoric-webjump/... The second one avoids the
requisite host's-banners/advertisements).
The code uses Ralf's mazer routines to build a maze and Jiri's font
routines (probably the older routines) for status messages.
Any and all comments are appreciated.
ATTN JOHN BOWN!!! - Take a look at my code and let me know if the bot
could translate well into your PixelBots API stuff thingie. I just ran
yer sample arena.ex and that's a very cool set-up (visually) you got
goin' there.
Yipes! Just realized, John's arena allows for separated walls, and
you'll notice that my simple bot finds and follows a wall to the goal.
Therefore, it WILL NOT WORK as is on any of John's arena's... Here's
where your (collective you - EUPHORIA community) code modification comes
in.
