1. SuperSimple text-mode dialogs
I have updated the simple-minded text-mode dialog package
I sent to RDS last week to include checkboxes, radiobuttons,
and scrolling listboxes, plus made the calling syntax drop-dead
simple.
It helps to make those quick and dirty little programs
look more impressive to the naive & clueless computer
user (aka boss).
Pick it up from http://www.mindspring.com/~mountains
(dialogs.zip - about 5 k bytes)
Regards,
Irv

Irv,
Good stuff. The input box allows me to type past the box itself, and I
can type all the way to the end of the screen, thus generating a "tried
to put text off the screen" error.

Good. That's exactly what you tried to do, isn't it?

Hy,
Excuse me, but is this a joke?
This is so stupid.
Why does anyone want to have an error?
You'd better make a textbox that scrolls along with the text,
like in Windows.
Don't you think ?
The rest is fine.

In order to play with the big boys, Rob should change all error
messages in the next release of Euphoria to:
"This program, or programmer, has performed an illegal
and/or immoral act, and will be terminated with great predjudice."
A pretty blue screen would be nice, also.
P.S. Rob, can you code this routine in less than 80 megs?
Microsoft did. Well, almost.

Irv

I would just *love* to sneak into Microsoft and work at their
help desk for a day. Heck, I'd do it for free. He..he...he.
