Shut off active scripting, and you won't get popups, popunders, or popovers.
By active scripting, i mean: ActiveX, VBS, VB, Java, and Javascript. I haven't
even tried Flash or that other thing. Simply put, if it's not plain html or
text,
shut it off. If you want entertainment on a screen, try the tv. The hosts file
won't stop a pop* from a site that's not in the hosts file. And even if it did,
the
window still would pop* and say it can't connect.
