I was not able to recreate this,but i did find what appears to be another bug. If I select "show multiple layers", it cant switch back to the other mode. Or better yet, select the foreground layer. Then right-click the TAB of the layer you want to be background layer. You may select multiple background layers by holding down the Ctrl button when right-click. To remove background layers right click the foreground layer. Layer 0 can not have any layers background to it. This routine was contributed by Dan Moyer and I think it is neater to use than selecting from right-click popup. ~judith
